SGPS students recently won the Merit Award at the 2^nd National College Students Diplomatic Negotiation Competition, held by China Foreign Affairs University from May 23 to 24, 2026. The team comprised Cui Jiawei (MSSc in Government and Politics, SGPS), Cheung Lok Lam (Year 2, Global Studies), Chang Nga Man (Year 3, Government and Public Administration), and Zhang Zhuoxuan (Year 4) from Department of Sociology. The event featured nearly 80 contestants from 18 top universities nationwide, including Hong Kong SAR. Through negotiations and press briefings, the competition provided a valuable opportunity for our students to learn diplomatic tactics and insights from both peers and esteemed former ambassadors.
