Prof Zhan Jing Vivian, the Programme Director of GPGC, delivered a public lecture titled “China’s Contained Resource Curse: How Minerals Shape State-Capital-Labor Relations” at the School of Graduate Studies, Lingnan University on February 25.

Sixty-six students from the Master of Social Science in Comparative and Public Administration, along with several participants from the Master of China and Regional Development Studies, attended the lecture and benefited from Prof. Zhan’s rich fieldwork findings and theoretical inspirations. The enthusiasm and active participation of the attendees were encouraging.
