The School of Governance and Policy Science (SGPS) (政務與政策科學學院) aspires to become an internationally respected innovator and educator in theory-informed and evidence-based public policy and government practices in local, national and global contexts. It strives to be one of the most trusted global thought leaders in governance and policy science. To reach its goals, the School will
- attract, nurture, and retain global talents in governance and policy science, including
- students, instructors and educators, and research scientists;
- inspire, create, incubate, and disseminate new ideas that will advance the field and
- define its intellectual landscape;
- encourage, incentivize and support interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary education
- and research in governance and policy science;
- develop students’ global mindset;
- make wise use of new technologies to support policy education and research;
- proactively contributes to citizen scholarship by generating and giving away
- communicable and actionable knowledge in governance and policy science; and
